Espenes rest stop
Our team in London received the award on behalf of our entire team during the award ceremony at the [d]arc night party, which took place at fabric London.
We received the award in the category STRUCTURES: LOW BUDGET for our lighting design at Espenes in Hardanger, Norway.
Espenes rest stop offers a scenic break with a stunning view of the fjord and the mountains and where the architecture steps into the landscape. Our lighting design is inspired by the location and the surrounding nature.
“Espenes Rest Stop is a project that really chimes with our values and the way we work. It’s been a joy collaborating with CODE architects and the National Scenic Routes. Seeing the team collect an industry peer award yesterday at DARC was a great pleasure and a wonderful way to round off our work on Espenes”
