Completed in 2018, the Porter Building immediately established itself as a benchmark project by being the first in the UK to achieve a WELL Standard Gold certification for Core and Shell. Developed jointly by Landid and Brockton Capital, the vision for the Porter Building was as a catalyst for wider regeneration in the Slough area, being immediately opposite the main train station.
Light Bureau worked with architects and interior designers TP Bennett to realize a series of front-of-house spaces to this speculative building that few fit-outs would deliver. The result is a restrained palette of simple but high-quality sources, expertly integrated into finishes and furniture to create a strong and positive experience for tenants and visitors.
The developer’s ambition of creating outstanding workspace is confirmed by the WELL certification, the key to which is the quality of the lit environment.
